The hair is without doubt one of the most important features of a women. Alongside clothes and makeup, hair care is up there as one of the things women spend their money on. With so many products available on the market and so many celebrities setting the newest trends it can be hard to keep up with the latest fashions, not to mention expensive.

Over the years we have seen beehives, back combing, bleaching, highlights, perms, extensions and hair straightening. As a result of the ever changing styles, the market for grooming products has multiplied by a thousand, in fact so much so that it can actually be quite difficult to know what to buy. Because of the choice available, caring for your hair doesn’t have to be expensive. The price range caters for all budgets therefore capturing a huge client base and clever marketing leaves people feeling that they absolutely need to buy certain products.

Just about everyone has a hair dryer and a brush or comb but how many are using the correct shampoo and conditioner that matches their hair type? Many go for the cheaper brands as a way to save money while others will opt for the fancy designer label that is totally mismatched to their specific hair type. With hair looking limp, dry, frizzy or dull it is therefore no wonder that we continue to spend money on hair care hoping to make that one purchase that will turn our hair into healthy looking locks.
